What does Solar Service do?
We service solar systems! We troubleshoot down systems, repair broken systems, remove/reinstall existing systems, add on to existing systems, upgrade panels or equipment of older systems, and clean and maintain existing systems.
What Does the Solar Installer Position Do?
The Solar Installer installs residential solar systems daily. This position is for someone with significant experience with all aspects of residential solar systems from the panels down the AC connections at the main service panel. In this role you would be on a team of Solar Installers during our Detach & Reset Projects, along with participating in complete system upgrade projects. This role interreacts directly with homeowners and is rewarded for outstanding customer service. Additional duties and descriptions include:
Main Duties:
1. Be Proficient in Removing and reinstalling solar flashings
2. Be Proficient in removing and reinstalling solar rail systems
3. Be Proficient in removing and reinstalling solar hardware (mids, ends)
4. Be Proficient in removing and reinstalling solar panels
5. Be Proficient in removing and reinstalling solar wiring and grounding
6. Be Proficient in cleaning solar systems with water fed pole and brush.
7. Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly
8. Learn identifying nonfunctioning or non-serviceable solar panels, hardware,
microinverters, optimizers, junction boxes, inverters, disconnects, and breakers, and
conduit.
9. Be Proficient in the removal of old solar systems and the reinstallation of hybrid upgraded (or
retrofitted) solar panel systems.
