As a Solar Sales Specialist at Independent Solar, you will be on the front lines of our customer engagement efforts, setting appointments through door-to-door interactions. This is a crucial role in our sales process, as you will be the first point of contact for potential customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing to identify and engage potential customers.
  • Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy.
  • Set appointments for our experienced closers to conduct in-home consultations.
  • Meet and exceed appointment-setting targets and goals.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while representing Independent Solar.
  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to help improve our sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic understanding of solar energy and its benefits (training will be provided).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Compensation:

  • Competitive commission structure with highest earnings for setters of any solar company. 50/50 commission split with closers getting you paid what you deserve as a setter.
  • 100% Commission pay averaging $3k-5k per deal.
  • Low starting redline compared to other solar companies.
  • Bonuses and incentives based on performance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $3,000.00 – $8,000.00 per week

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
