Job Description

As a part of The Brandtech Group, we’re at the forefront of leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to revolutionise how we create and deliver work. Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision-making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.

About the role:

We’re looking for a proactive and creative Community Manager to build engaged communities for some of the biggest brands in the country. You’ll be a doer as much as a thinker, able to come up with the funniest tweet response one minute and concept your own Instagram story the next.

You’ll be working on culturally relevant brands, so you need to know what’s going on in the worlds of entertainment, sports, gaming and social media and how to act on that information. Writing is at the core of the role so you should be able to entertain in a number of different voices, adapting as you switch between brands. You’ll also report on how the work is performing, so experience with platform analytics is a plus.

Industry experience is helpful, but attitude and ideas are more important. If you’ve got great ideas that never made it, your Twitter account is hilarious, or you’ve got a strong TikTok game, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

  • Entertaining people with your writing across different tones of voice
  • Coming up with ideas and executing them on a daily basis
  • Keeping up to date with the latest social trends & tools and bringing fresh ideas on how to use them
  • Creating timely and culturally relevant content optimised for platform and audience
  • Monitoring platforms for content opportunities and initiating conversations
  • Analysing, tracking, and measuring performance against KPIs and reporting on results
  • Refining our creative process
  • Working closely with our Account Management and creative teams to produce bigger, better ideas

What you need to be great in this role:

  • 1-3 years’ experience (ideally agency background) of working on social channels or campaigns
  • Writing background
  • Ability to come up with ideas quickly
  • Examples of social media marketing successes and wins or personal social triumphs
  • 1-2 years’ experience of building audiences and engagement through social media
  • An instinct for stories that will make people take notice
  • Strong understanding of social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest
  • Experience monitoring and reporting on social campaigns a plus
  • Able to work under tight deadline and be able to handle multiple projects at any given time
  • Some experience with social tools and analytics such as Facebook Insights, Sprout Social and Google Analytics a plus
  • Basic MS Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Adobe suite experience a plus (Photoshop etc)
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $60,000.00 to $65,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
