What to Expect
Tesla Energy engages in the design, construction, installation, and maintenance of energy products across Residential, Commercial, and Industrial applications. Within the Energy Organization, the Warehouse & Fleet team manages warehousing, facilities, uniform, and fleet vehicles to support Install and Service teams. The Project Manager, Operational Infrastructure Management will oversee the opening/closure and maintenance of Energy facilities, the Energy employee uniform program, and the remote Service storage unit program. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to build business partnerships with third party providers and natural problem-solving inclination with minimal guidance.

What Youll Do

  • Work with the Sr. Program Manager, Operational Infrastructure Management to meet goals for warehouse and office openings/closings/updates as set forth by leadership
  • Work with US & MX Operational Infrastructure Management staff to ensure achievement of project scope and delivery/setup of required equipment and materials
  • Maintain a list of preferred suppliers and contractors. Process required documents for vendor addition to companywide procurement system. Work with procurement team to negotiate preferential rates and terms
  • Monitor Tesla facilities ticket system. Manage maintenance requests, periodic maintenance, and vendor invoice approval for regional sites within and outside of ticketing system
  • Build & maintain a successful Remote Storage Unit Program for Energy Service
  • Build and maintain Vendor PO & Invoice tracking for future quarter projection reporting
  • Standardize and maintain a bi-annual Uniform program for Energy Employees

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years customer service experience (emergency response in a high velocity/high volume setting preferred)
  • Proven ability to measure and manage work from afar, including driving successful vendor relationships
  • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal guidance and direction
  • Superior communication skills; written and verbal
  • Enthusiasm for exceeding customer expectations and driving continuous improvements
  • Ability to travel to various assigned projects/sites as required

Expected Compensation

$61,200 – $199,800/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
