Position Summary

Roofing Solar is looking for a construction contracts administrator to join our team in San Diego. As a Construction Contracts Administrator at Roofing- Solar, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction contracts. The role requires an acute attention to detail and a strong understanding of contract law as it relates to the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and modify contractual documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Manage the entire lifecycle of construction contracts, from initial drafting through completion, including monitoring compliance, payment terms, and other obligations.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related inquiries and issues, liaising between project managers, subcontractors, and external parties.

Ensure all contractual work meets regulatory and legal standards, including obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.

Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and successful execution of contract terms and conditions.

Manage documentation and maintain detailed records for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.

Resolve any contract disputes and negotiate amendments to existing contracts.

Prepare and submit contract-related reports and briefs to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required

Education

College degree preferred.

Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience acceptable.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration or a related field, preferably within the construction or roofing industry.

Skills & Requirements

Strong understanding of construction processes and legal guidelines.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, MS Excel, and other relevant software.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
