Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door to door canvassing in local neighborhoods to introduce ourselves to homeowners and discuss the benefits of energy efficient solutions
  • Identify potential customers and assess their energy needs and interests
  • Provide expert advice on energy efficient products and services, including solar panels, energy efficient windows, insulation, and more
  • Build relationships with homeowners to identify their needs and concerns, and tailor our solutions to meet those needs
  • Conduct site assessments to identify potential energy saving opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and competitor activity
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas

Collaborate with other team members to share best practices, resources, and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, business) preferred
  • 12 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in the energy industry
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable vehicle with good insurance coverage (mileage reimbursement available)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable with door to door canvassing in various weather conditions
