Position: Plant Manager

Job Description: Our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to lead their US manufacturing facility in. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing operations, particularly within the renewable energy sector. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive initiatives to achieve operational goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align plant operations with company objectives and strategic plans.
  • Manage the plant budget, forecast operational costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices to enhance manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with a proven track record in the renewable energy or solar industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and other relevant technologies.
