Job Description

We have an immediate opportunity resulting from growth of our product lines. We are looking for a Territory Manager for the Southwestern USA – covering from Texas through Arizona, California, New Mexico and Nevada. We are extremely customer oriented and need a person who is able to establish and build long-term relationships with existing and potential customers and staff members. Candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills. This person should be a self-starter, self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, and outgoing. An ideal candidate will have a background in renting/selling equipment or a long-time user of equipment from the contractor/end user side of the construction market. Knowledge of construction equipment is preferred. Light Tower experience as well as knowledge and understanding of clean energy products will be required.

Compensation

Extremely attractive compensation package including company vehicle, health insurance including dental and vision, 401K, base salary + commission package. We will discuss more in detail in personal interview.

Candidates will be expected to

-Be able to work effectively as part of a team of individuals on a daily basis.

-Live in the territory served – Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas

-Generate new leads while maintaining and cultivating existing customer accounts.

-Able to plan an effective market call strategy based on data provided.

-Provide premier customer support by meeting any and all customer needs.

-Must be extremely effective in time management and planning.

-Be a team player helping to drive revenue and meet or exceed goals.

-Communicate effectively with customer personnel in all levels of their organization

-Work with and train customer sales staff

-Work with and train Independent Reps

-Communicate effectively with all company personnel

-Make sales calls (Scheduled & Unscheduled) to prospective customers (via telephone or in person)

-Must be able to investigate what customer needs are and create a plan to provide effective solutions for that meet customer needs

-Must understand competitive landscape in the construction industry

-Must understand machine capability and applications

-Able to work remotely as part of an on-call team when the business need should arise

Minimum Job Requirements

-Valid Driver’s License

-Access to reliable transportation

-Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

-Experience in sales/marketing role with documented success

-Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook with solid IT skills.

-Experience with using a CRM Package is preferred

-Effective written and oral communication skills

-Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
