Job Overview
Join our team at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) as a Program Administrator within the Net Zero Grid team. We’re seeking a motivated individual with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping Massachusetts achieve its 2050 net zero emissions goals. Experience or interest in the electric sector and/or grid management is a plus.
The Net Zero Grid program focuses on grants, collaborations, and research to ensure the MA electric grid supports decarbonization efforts. Key areas include Future Grid, Distributed Energy Resources, Clean Generation, and Energy Resilience.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Program Administrator will facilitate funding solicitations and related tasks. Responsibilities include reviewing program applications, managing contracts, and serving as the primary stakeholder contact. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
Job Duties
Coordinate day-to-day activities of MassCEC programs
Review applications for compliance
Manage application queues and tracking
Provide timely responses to inquiries
Record and maintain awards and invoices
Collaborate with internal teams
Support program development
Enhance program administration workflow
Education
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in energy, environmental science, economics, business management, or related field preferred
Experience
At least one year of relevant experience preferred
Experience in project administration or the public sector a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
