Job Summary
Facilitate the completion of day-to-day requirements for the compliance programs for clients. Main point of contact for clients, organizing and leading regular update calls and directing the work of Compliance Associates. Coordinate with Implementation and Engineering teams to address any necessary tasks related to the compliance programs to ensure scope is executed.
Role And Responsibilities
Responsible for kicking off project implementation process independently.
Manage the integration of new EPC and SCADA providers into the implementation process.
Manage the revision of the implementation process for non-standard implementation deployments including the integration of new technology.
Manage the implementation compliance activities for facilities in anticipation of registration.
Host and lead weekly meetings with various stakeholders, including clients, EPC contractors, engineering teams, etc.
Manage workflow for Implementation Compliance Administrator and/or Analyst.
Responsible for customer success and satisfaction during implementation phase
Responsible for the compliant delivery of a project to COD
Ensures content of compliance policies and procedures are up to date.
Assists in the development and delivery of compliance training.
Maintains all electronic files, reports, filed documents, etc. related to implementation compliance activities.
Monitors compliance activities at regulatory agencies and briefs the compliance team on impacts to implementation efforts.
Performs spot checks of business unit controls, analyzes, and presents results.
Coordinates documentation transfer with client subcontractors
Coordinates with compliance managers for handover
Tracks implementation cost model
Tracks onboarding and compliance tasks including regulatory submissions.
Required Qualification & Education
University Degree (or equivalent) with 6+ years domain experience
Masters/Graduate and 4+ years domain experience
Degree in business, management, or relevant field preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
Renewable energy industry experience in asset management, business management, contract management, compliance, or operations roles
Work experience in NERC Compliance
Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills with working teams and senior level management, CEOs, boards of directors
Required Software Knowledge
Expertise in MS Office MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF toolsets
Preferred Experience
5+ years actively managing/supporting a Generator Owner compliance program.
Working knowledge of photovoltaic system design, wind or battery storage operations and management
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Passion to learn within a growth-stage company within the renewable energy space.
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill information and present it in an understandable manner appropriate for the audience.
Strong interpersonal skills
Additional knowledge of ERCOT, CAISO, and other ISO/RTO markets, State Public Utilities Commissions, and IA/PAA operational requirements desirable
Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
Training creation, process improvement.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
83,490 – 139,150 USD per year(Remote)
