Director of Project Development – Solar Developer (Remote)

One of our key clients is an innovative, scaling Energy Storage company focused on utility scale solar development.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Project Management, you will lead the project management team, overseeing the execution of solar projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of project management, a commitment to sustainability, and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects. You will collaborate with the executive team to define project management goals, manage resources, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project management strategy.
• Oversee the execution of solar projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead and mentor the project management team.
• Form strategic partnerships with key industry players and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in project management roles, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven success in managing large-scale solar projects with a focus on sustainability.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
