Director of Origination – Solar Developer (Remote)

Company Overview:

One of our key clients is an innovative, scaling Energy Storage company focused on the Utility sector.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Origination, you will lead the efforts to identify and secure new solar project opportunities. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the solar energy sector, a commitment to sustainability, and a proven track record in project origination. You will collaborate with the executive team to define origination targets, form strategic alliances, and drive our project acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive origination strategy.
• Identify and target new market segments and regions for project opportunities.
• Lead project acquisition efforts with innovative strategies and tactics.
• Form strategic partnerships with key industry players and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• At least 8 years of experience in project origination roles, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven success in identifying and securing solar projects with a focus on sustainability.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills.
