Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager with a core focus on the Western US, with a critical role to play in driving the adoption of innovative energy storage solutions.

Our client is an industry leader, with US manufacturing and European engineering behind their products. Along with a solid sales background and a track record in renewables, you’ll need to have a good technical understanding of your products – which will only benefit you when you’re dealing with your installer/contractor customer base, particularly as this product comes in at a higher price point.

These battery systems go beyond just providing your customers with stability. There’s some great technology hidden in that box. Algorithms identify the best times for the battery to charge and discharge, saving your customers money. And they work with the utilities to sell power back to the grid, becoming a revenue stream for homeowners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and achieve sales targets within the Western US, with a strong focus on CA
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, particularly in the installer and distribution space
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing
  • Provide training and support to installers and their teams, wholesale distributors, and other channel partners

Requirements

  • A solid background in sales, preferably within the renewable energy sector
  • A proven track record of working with and selling to installers and distributors
