They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead their North American sales team and drive business growth.
Job Description: As the Vice President of Sales – North America, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our client’s market share and achieve revenue targets. You will lead a high-performing sales team, build and maintain key customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the battery storage market and a proven track record of success in sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market presence in North America.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the North American sales team to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customers, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall company goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to the executive team.
- Ensure the sales team adheres to best practices, processes, and company policies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the renewable energy or battery storage industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the battery storage market and related technologies.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
