PV Design Manager

Company Overview:

• Headquarters in Austin, TX.
• Independent Power Producer with a focus on Solar and Energy Storage projects.
• Acquired by a leading PE firm in 2020 and now making waves in the US market, operating in 19 states, 9 energy markets, and 2 countries.

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 6-8 years of utility-scale PV design.
• 3-4 years of project development engineering experience with over 1 GW of experience in various stages.
• NABCEP certification preferred.
• Proficiency with PVSyst, AutoCAD, and Grid Scale renewable energy projects.
• Competent, confident, and assertive personality.
• Must be highly autonomous and entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with the engineering team to define and optimize utility-scale solar and energy storage project design
• Develop RFPs
• Collaborate with procurement teams
• Eventually build a PV design team
