Overview
As the Vice President of External Affairs at CEBA, you will hold a key leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO. Your primary focus will involve shaping and amplifying our organization’s voice as a prominent advocate for clean energy buyers globally. You will oversee strategic initiatives encompassing marketing, communications, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement to drive CEBA’s influence and membership impact.
Core Responsibilities
Enhance CEBA’s brand influence through strategic messaging, media engagement, and stakeholder relations.
Promote policy advocacy, government relations, and expedite clean energy transactions.
Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to steer organizational strategy, goals, and accountability metrics.
Manage relationships with CEBA and CEBI Boards of Directors and advisory bodies to guide strategic direction.
Oversee communications campaigns, digital strategy, and event management to bolster organizational objectives.
Organization/Leadership
Develop strategic plans, manage budgets, and allocate resources in line with organizational goals.
Evaluate program effectiveness and enhance member engagement using analytics and insights.
Nurture a collaborative work environment to support professional growth and cross-team collaboration.
Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders to reinforce CEBA’s leadership in the clean energy sector.
Qualifications
Required:
20+ years of experience without higher education, OR 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR 12+ years of experience with a Master’s Degree.
Extensive background in marketing, strategic communication, external affairs, and senior management.
Additional
Expertise in clean energy, sustainability, policy, or related fields.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Proven ability to build and leverage professional networks.
Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
