Come be a part of an exciting clean energy technology startup in beautiful Northern Colorado! You will work together with an ambitious and talented group of individuals decarbonizing the industrial heat sector.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and install electrical components, equipment, and subsystems using supplied documentation;
  • Solve routine problems with little or no assistance and support the engineering team on process and documentation;
  • Set up and perform testing on electrical systems under operational conditions per written and verbal instructions from the project engineer with moderate assistance or supervision;
  • Troubleshoot and rework products to a component level and help diagnose or determine possible solutions.
  • Participate in the installation of equipment in test setups, which may include mechanical or electrical controls, cabling, tubing, power sources, and instrumentation;
  • Execute tests per test documentation, record results for compliance with functional test objectives, and document test progress;
  • Assist in the development of manufacturing documentation for standard products.

Required Qualifications

  • Adherence to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment.
  • Minimum 2+ years as an Electrical Assembly Technician or in a similar role;
  • Associates Degree in Engineering Science/Technology;
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) and NEC (National Electric Code) standards;
  • Competency in electronics: able to read electrical diagrams and schematics and use a wide range of precision mechanical, electrical, or software measurement devices;
  • Have or are willing to acquire UL508A MTR certification;
  • Ability and desire to learn new instrumentation and data acquisition systems;
  • Competency in understanding component function, testing, assembly, drawings as well as shop standards and procedures;
  • Physically capable of handling heavy materials, tools, and machines up to 50lbs;
  • Competent problem solver with solid troubleshooting skills;
  • Experience, ability and/or willingness to be trained to operate a forklift;
  • Experience, ability and/or willingness to be trained to operate a crane;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills including presentations and basic technical writing skills;
  • Ability to interact effectively with operators and engineers

Preferred candidates have one or more of the following qualifications

  • Willingness to learn other aspects of the product and assist in these areas as needed;
  • Extensive experience with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) and NEC (National Electric Code) standards;

The Pay Range For This Role Is

24 – 33 USD per hour(Forge Campus)
