Operations and Maintenance Engineer

About the Company: We are delighted to be partnered with a leading clean energy company that is looking for an Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join its team.

About the Role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations & Maintenance Engineer oversees and performs the all related maintenance and operations work that is necessary in operating and upgrading plant equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain operational procedures and maintenance plans
• Acts as a liaison between the team and outside vendors
• Manages the facility maintenance, inbound and outbound deliveries
• Key member of the team for maintaining accurate records
• Adheres to, and has full working knowledge of, the company safety program.
• Will have limited oversight responsibility for outside maintenance contractors to ensure that they are working in a safe manner.
• Communicates with all personnel to stress the importance of a safe work environment.
• Required to isolate equipment following proper Lock-out Tag-Out procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and supports the plant safety, health, and environmental programs in all activities.
• Contributes to incident investigations to reduce recurrence of accidents/incidents.
• Supporting and promotes the philosophy of maintaining an accident/incident free workplace.

Qualifications:

• 3 years experience working in a maintenance role
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.
• Will be required to regularly lift, move and/or push objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment
