JOB SUMMARY: At Excelerate Energy, the Inventory & Warehouse Specialist is a service function role and is key to supporting and optimizing the company’s inventory and warehouse management activities. This role provides oversight and guidance on warehousing and inventory practices onboard and ashore. The specialist ensures the effective execution of policies and procedures, aiming to enhance operational excellence. Responsibilities include advising on warehouse operations, monitoring inventory processes, and promoting cost-efficiency and compliance with industry standards. This role requires world-wide travel to sites to conduct NSE, Inventory and Warehouse Management Training and Assurance Activities.

  • Support the development, enhancement and compliance of policies and procedures for inventory and warehouse management.
  • Develop training material and attend vessels to conduct training of storekeepers and ships staff on inventory and warehouse management to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the fleet.
  • Conduct onboard training on NSE Topics when requested.
  • Conduct inventory and warehouse management audits onboard and at shore facilities.
  • Conduct Vendor Assurance Activities as requested.
  • Facilitate the orientation and performance reviews of Storekeepers with Ship Staff.
  • Foster relationships with a focus on working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure seamless inventory and warehouse management operations onboard and ashore. 8. Support the development, execution and monitoring of Inventory and Warehouse Management strategic road map and associated Action Tracking Lists of individual storekeepers.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering monthly KPIs to monitor inventory management activities including consumptions to allow strategic and cost-effective inventory management.
  • Help manage inventory levels at all warehouse facilities to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Support system updates and change requests in NSE associated in Inventory and Warehouse Management.
  • Support the integration of new spares and consumables into systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure inventory data is up to dateAssist in preparing and delivering monthly KPIs to monitor inventory management activities including consumptions to allow strategic and cost-effective inventory management.
  • Report on consumable and spare part usage to inform operational improvements.
  • Contribute to setting optimal stock levels and developing stock replenishment strategies.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Inventory or Warehouse Management or another related field.
  • Other relevant certifications in Inventory or Warehouse Management can be advantageous.
  • Strong MS Office skills with Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to manage and interpret large sets of inventory and asset data.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory and warehouse management, preferably in Offshore, Oil Service or Marine industry.
  • Proven experience in optimizing warehouse operations, implementing inventory control measures, and overseeing asset lifecycle management.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Approximately 50% international travel.
