We also maintain satellite offices in New York City, Florida and California and Rhode Island.

We are seeking a hands-on experienced Project Superintendent for Queens project.

Airport experience is highly recommended for this role.

  • 3-5 years minimum as a superintendent for heavy civil construction projects.
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day field activities to ensure that the project milestone dates and overall schedule completion date is met
  • Must demonstrate strong dedication to safety for both crew and the public
  • Experience in pipe work including water line and sanitary line installation required
  • Ability to manage and coordinate the work to ensure that it is constructed in an orderly and deliberate manner that is consistent with the standard-of-care set forth in the contract documents that is viewed by industry as an effort that is consistent with best-practices standards
  • Manage and look-ahead no less than two weeks to proactively identifying issues that could lead to problems and facilitate solutions
  • Ability to obtain all inspections and ensure that the quality aspects of the physical work are fully documented
  • Ensure all aspects of the project are compliant with all contract terms and legal requirements that govern the project and the community in which the project(s) takes place
  • Manage changes in project scope to ensure that the most contemporary contract documents are being used at all times to prevent avoidable rework
  • Maintain daily paperwork such as field reports, schedule updates and E-mail correspondence
  • Safety credentials to include OSHA 10, 1st Aid and CPR a plus
