Description QCELLS seeks a talented and experienced technical professional to serve asTechnical Lead to develop and enhance technology on the salesforce.com platform and Q2 Cloud Lending, that support various mission-critical business processes.

Technical Lead must have an excellent background in Java/Force.com programming/ application design, and an understanding of JavaScript, CSS, XML and HTML. Candidate should have a history of building successful Web-based solutions using Web Services and the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technology and integrate them quickly.

Candidate should be able to write code that others can understand, support, maintain and expand, and provide other team members with direction on development projects. Demonstrated ability to anticipate technology lifecycle issues, work with projects involving multiple systems, and influence the team to deliver durable, extensible solutions.

This job requires that the candidate be a self-starter. Candidate will also be asked to contribute ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on many projects within the team’s portfolio that may be outside the domain of expertise. Experience in the fintech lending sector is a plus. This position will be based in the QCELLS North America headquarters in Irvine, CA, or in the San Francisco, CA office, although remote options may also be available.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and write highly scalable internal web applications using Force.com technologies.
  • Develop through all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial technical designs, development and testing, implementation to production systems.
  • Work with team members to develop new features, as well as enhance existing infrastructure and frameworks.
  • Ability to quickly learn new features, technologies, and to communicate effectively with various business owners, technical staff members, and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to lead and influence the design approach to new applications and features.
  • Ability to maintain and configure development and test instances on sandboxes.
  • Ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

  • Total Information Technology experience for 5+ years with a minimum of 3 years in programming with Force.com (Apex, Community Cloud, Visualforce, and Lightening Web Component) and Java.
  • Extensive experience with Q2 Cloud Lending.
  • Expertise in the design of complex data models and relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
  • Experience with complex projects using Web Services integration (SOAP and REST)
  • Experience developing on the Salesforce platform & APIs.
  • Bachelor’s degree – ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Admin and/or developer certification on Force.com platform
  • Certification in Q2 Cloud Lending Originate.
  • Experience developing in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience with Continuous Development and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) process.
  • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
