Redeux Energy is seeking an Analyst, Storage (BESS) for our growing utility scale solar and storage development company in the United States. In this role you’ll cultivate regional strategy and execute or coordinate related development activities including energy market evaluation, regional prospecting, site acquisition, permitting, project design, interconnection, community engagement and project management.

Position Responsibilities

The Analyst, Storage (BESS) will report to the Director of Storage Development and will collaborate with the Associate Developers. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:  

  • Assist with early-stage project siting, by collaborating with the Redeux Engineering team in leveraging in-house transmission studies and Land ID tools;
  • Engage with third-party consultants and Redeux Finance team to build out project viability theses;
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of timelines and costs for both permitting and interconnection activities in relevant storage markets;
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of various storage technologies’ CAPEX/OPEX and land requirements to assist with project financial modeling and to vet early-stage site viability;
  • Support lease and purchase option negotiations with landowners;
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for battery energy storage. This is an exciting opportunity to be the second member of Redeux’s BESS team.

  • 1-3 years of utility-scale experience either in renewable energy project development and/or battery energy storage equipment sales;
  • Experience with and ability to advise on key drivers of renewable energy project revenues, operating expenses, and capital investments;
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills also must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent.
  • Able to collaborate on multiple projects and internal initiatives in a fast-paced business environment while managing competing deadlines.
  • Travel as needed (~25%, more if not based in Denver) to project sites, local government offices, and conferences;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, or another related field

  • This position is a Full-Time, onsite position located in our Downtown Denver office.
  • Competitive cash compensation, pay range $80,000-$110,000/yr. DOE
