Construction Civil Engineer:
The construction civil engineer is in charge of supervising the work performed by contractors in the construction of renewable energy facilities. Ensure construction quality by monitoring that all work complies with plans, specifications, QA/QC standards, code requirements, contract terms, and good construction practices.
Adhere to company protocols and procedures to construct renewable energy facilities safely and effectively, aiming for “Best in Class Performance.”
Participate in project meetings held daily, weekly, and monthly. Keep accurate minutes and necessary logs for all job-specific meetings.
Create, process, complete, and maintain accurate documentation and records related to the construction site, including requests for information, submittals, change orders, and drawings.
Assist in monitoring facility tie-ins, start-up, and testing to ensure proper handover to operations. Engage in final project demobilization, documentation, and close-out activities.
Ensure safety and environmental compliance of on-site personnel and subcontractors during construction in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and company policies, practices, and procedures. Verify that all personnel and subcontractors meet technical and safety training requirements.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis proficiently to accurately determine failure modes and causes.
Identify and suggest cost reduction opportunities.
Provide necessary information for daily reporting requirements for internal and external customers, as well as KPI reporting.
Assist in training and supporting new Construction Engineers.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Work may involve lifting materials up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment, including but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
