Position: Commodities Operations Coordinator/Trade Assistant

Employment Status: Fulltime

Position Overview

Works directly with the merchandisers to add commercial value through various support functions. This position will also track physical movements of commodities and associated documents, track contract execution and entry, report and analyze customer databases and various administrative duties and special projects. This position is immersed in the trading process, customer relations and scale room activity daily, providing an exceptional opportunity to contribute and learn as a valud member of the trading team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and two years of experience in a related field; Associate’s degree in ag economics, accounting, business administration or related field may be preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must live (or be willing to move) within one hour drive time of plant location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a grain facility
  • Experience in a trading environment or with accounts receivable
  • Knowledge and/or experience coordinating product shipments by truck
