Communications Department Description:

MMR offers a wide range of technical services, including advanced telecommunications and security systems solutions. As a one-stop-shop integrator, MMR can provide turn-key project solutions for our clients. We specialize in both Information and Operational Technology Systems to support critical business functions of clients. Our experienced team provides reliable network solutions for IIoT applications, safety, and security applications, including fiber optic backbone and industrial wireless.

Our extensive list of telecommunications and security solutions includes physical security, video surveillance, CCTV, access control, gates/turnstiles & barriers, Intrusion Detection, LAN/WAN Design & Configuration, Wireless (WiFi, Microwave, Mesh), Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA), VIOP, and Structured Cabling & Fiber Optics.

MMR Communications is seeking Project Coordinator candidates with a degree in Construction Management or industry-related equivalent. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, submit, and obtain answers for various aspects of the project life cycle
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn software to keep information neat and organized, tabulate results, and maintain databases with the ability to articulate information in a professional manner
  • Maintain neat and organized filing system containing all documents and information used for the project (electronic)
  • Prepare project closeout package on all completed projects
  • Organize project management tasks, resources, tools, and data
  • Divide projects into manageable tasks and establish deadlines
  • Communicate with clients to determine and clarify requirements, scope, and goals
  • Ensure that client needs are addressed throughout the project
  • Manage project procurement
  • Prepare and solicit quotes (RFQs) from vendors and subs
  • Track project advancement and address any issues that arise
  • Serve as point of contact and update all involved parties on project status
  • Prepare all necessary legal documents (such as contracts and agreements)
  • Notary Public is a plus!
  • Develop and maintain thorough project documentation, plans, and reports
