Job Opportunity: Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level) 1-Year Contract Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (On-Site)

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Contract Length: 1 Year

About the Role:

Are you ready to jump-start your career in renewable energy? We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team as a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician on a one-year contract. In this role, you will perform vital preventative maintenance and repairs on wind turbine power generation equipment, troubleshooting both electrical/electronic and mechanical issues as needed. Youll play a key role in maintaining company-supplied equipment and facilities, ensuring the seamless operation of our renewable energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance and repair work on wind turbines, including troubleshooting and diagnostics using advanced tools.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in line with company safety and environmental policies, ensuring a safety-first mindset at all times.
  • Work in challenging outdoor conditions, including inclement weather and at heights exceeding 200 feet on both tubular and lattice tower structures.
  • Support the Renewable Operations Control Center, executing critical tasks such as plant start-up, shutdowns, and outage restorations.
  • Engage in remote inverter restoration, SCADA diagnostics, and energy storage system troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to daily tasks and system performance.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates or Bachelors Degree in Power Generation/Renewables preferred.
  • Relevant experience in power generation or industrial operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; exposure to statistical tools and techniques is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid Drivers License and be willing to travel when required.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong emphasis on safety and risk avoidance.
