Summary
Entry level to a production career progression
Job Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Receives shipments in accordance with documented procedures
- Verify bills of lading and delivery tickets to ensure proper quantities and correct parts
- Document proof of delivery
- Ensure all items are properly marked and preserved before staging
- Stages material in appropriate areas
- Maintain logs for warehouse and distribution
- Take responsibility for tidiness and organization of working areas
- Prepares packing lists and bills of lading
- Perform physical inventories
- Scan and post / file documents as required per work instructions / procedures
- Prepare shipping documents to include BOL’s, Packing Slips, pick lists and mailing labels.
- Communicate with internal customers regarding shipments.
- Ensure all orders have been filled correctly
- Other duties as assigned in the workshop by Workshop Supervisor
Required Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience: 0-2 years of experience
Skills and Abilities: Requires basic communication skills and common courtesy
