Role Overview:
- Provide leadership in sales for the Energy Storage Business aligning with organizational policies and goals. Oversee and drive business planning, team recruitment and development, operations, and key account management.
- Lead sales efforts and strategic targeting in key markets and customer segments by leveraging existing industry connections. Collaborate with customers and key internal stakeholders to achieve business growth objectives.
- Take charge of contract negotiations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the contract administration process.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts, report on sales performance, and convert leads and forecasted opportunities into revenue.
- Coordinate with the executive management team and peers to ensure business targets are defined and achieved.
- Contribute to the marketing strategy and communication efforts to enhance brand and solution awareness.
Skills Summary:
- Over 10 years of proven leadership in project development, sales, business development, or key account management.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in penetrating and expanding within targeted markets at C&I, Community and Grid Scale Energy Storage Solutions.
- Exceptional ability to navigate complex contract negotiations involving multiple stakeholders and to identify and engage key decision-makers.
- Expertise in financial analysis, including interpreting financial reports and calculating return on investment.
- Track record of consistently surpassing sales goals and project development objectives.
- Outstanding sales acumen, with a deep understanding of the sales process, adept at crafting and executing strategic sales plans, delivering compelling proposals, negotiating intricate contracts, and closing high-value deals.
