Job Summary:

The Tooling Process Manager III drives operational excellence across the region, ensuring seamless tooling operations that contribute to increased efficiency and cost savings. This role acts as a strategic leader that oversees critical processes, identifies, and eliminates inefficiencies, and champions continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee regional tooling equipment tracking, manage tooling transfers between centers, and ensure alignment between inventory and financial records for optimal resource utilization
  • Manage Global Tooling inventory in the region and its accuracy in ETM, including calibration, safety checks, and certifications
  • Lead standardization of operations across region to enhance SQDC KPIs
  • Work collaboratively with Tooling Center leaders and regional control tower to ensure adherence to the production plan, ensuring customer fulfillment
  • Lead inventory strategy that guarantees designated locations for each equipment piece within the system and the tooling centers
  • Support and drive lean initiatives
  • Partner with sourcing to drive inventory savings and operational improvements
  • Identify and drive productivity initiatives, including innovation and digitalization
  • Develop and leverage strong relationships and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
  • Partner with value stream and tooling optimization leaders to streamline tool procurement
  • Analyze projected inventory utilization versus actual demand and recommend strategic tooling movements across locations
  • Develop a proactive maintenance strategy by creating a data-driven plan for tooling maintenance man-hours based on anticipated workload volume
  • Some travel as required
  • May be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organizations core values

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as engineering, business management or supply chain management
  • 10+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following areas: operations, manufacturing, supply chain management, warehouse management, quality control, lean manufacturing, field service operations, engineering, or project/program management
  • Experience working with ERP, Microsoft Office applications, and technical databases
  • 5+ years working and influencing in a matrixed environment
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English required

Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at tailoring messages to different audiences and securing buy-in for key initiatives
  • Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, operations management, forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of tasks, and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • 4+ years of experience with power generation field operations and services, particularly GE power equipment (gas turbine, steam turbine, generator) is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of business principles and a focus on driving efficiency and standardization for improved outcomes
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proactive and results-oriented, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of employees

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $101,700 to $167,700. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
