Doosan GridTech® delivers innovative control and optimization software and services to developers and electric utilities, helping them turn distributed energy resources such as energy storage and solar PV into valuable contributors to grid reliability and economics for our customers. We aim to be the global leader in delivering technology solutions for the emerging digital, distributed grid, a critical component of the world’s clean energy future.
We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a Systems Commissioning Engineer. Use your field engineering and hands-on skills to be responsible for all phases of commissioning sophisticated software control systems with requirements devoted to grid-integrated clean energy, including solar PV and energy storage. This role will ensure that Doosan GridTech’s DGIC power plant controller solution is properly configured, validated and put into operation with the system architecture that ensures compliance with all performance requirements. Your primary goal is to commission GridTech’s DGIC power plant controller solution to utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) and Hybrid (PV + BESS) projects. In this effort, you will work closely with others in our Software Systems Engineering team through all aspects of product and system definition, design, development, and delivery, and see your solutions deployed with real-world power system operators.
We require customer engagement and listening skills, energy market knowledge, ability to collaborate and build consensus, hands-on skills with RTAC and SCADA systems (SEL products especially) and a solid grasp of the professional software development process. Desired capabilities are a strong plus. Job responsibilities and qualifications follow.
