Are you an experienced sustainability professional who is passionate about Net-Zero Carbon? Are you interested in a high impact role at the world’s preeminent cloud computing company? The AWS Sustainability team is looking for a results-oriented Sustainability Specialist to develop and implement strategies to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the company’s supply chain This role will work hand in hand with our Supply Chain team in support of our Climate Pledge goal of Net-Zero Carbon by 2040. The ideal candidate will have industry experience leading programs to assess supply chain emissions, identify hotspots, and develop tailored decarbonization strategies aligned with corporate sustainability goals. The individual will be responsible for analyzing Scope 3 carbon data, managing supplier sustainability metrics, engaging with external business partners and across internal organizations, and delivering decarbonization results for AWS customers. This role requires a dynamic individual who can independently manage technical sustainability data, clearly communicate to leadership on complex topics, and drive our commitment to carbon reduction measures. Teamwork is an absolute must to accomplish our goals. You must be able to work within a team while depending on and driving others to accomplish goals for our customers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
