PRODUCTION CONTROL INTERN

LOCATION: Fully on-site in Turtle Creek, PA

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze production data in Excel & Minitab.
  • Conduct Statistical Tests on production data.
  • Draw schematic diagrams in PowerPoint.
  • Document project work and write project reports.
  • Develop automated daily reports for Key Production Indicators for Safety, Quality and Production to provide data granularity to management and establish action plans
  • Work with Production supervisors to maintain buffers in place to meet the production schedule and identify Root Cause Countermeasures in case of deviations

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Know & understand basic engineering and statistics concepts.
  • Must know Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree Fourth Year Student

0-6 Months Work Experience Required

GLOBAL SUPPLY INTERN

LOCATION: Fully on-site in Turtle Creek, PA

The Global Supply Intern is responsible for the sourcing, manufacturing development execution, qualification and production readiness of Eos raw materials and outside services.

Responsibilities

  • Cross functional support: with industrial design, product development and operations teams
  • Evaluation and development of new technologies using new materials and processes.
  • Supply chain management: identification, development, negotiation, and management of developing materials suppliers. There is a strong US supply base, which requires travel.
  • Build Support: on site management of materials and final assembly partners to manage the development builds, risk mitigation and ramp
  • Cost: development, negotiation and execution of part and assembly cost strategy. Understanding of materials manufacturing processes/ techniques to evaluate supplier capabilities.
  • On-time-delivery: schedule, capacity, and supply planning to meet Eos production demand
  • Risk Mitigation: evaluation of technical and business risks and risk mitigation alternatives
  • Program Management: manage all the above tasks and personnel resources

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Third Year Bachelor Degree Student

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN

LOCATION: Fully on-site in Edison, NJ

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative designs for battery modules and enclosures. Assist in creating 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Contribute to test planning and execution, including performance testing and failure analysis. Participate in the prototyping process by assisting in the assembly of mechanical and electrical components if required.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall system designs.
  • Support documentation of design specifications, test results and analysis reports. Assist in conducting feasibility studies and design reviews.
  • Engage in learning energy storage systems, seek mentorship, and participate in team meetings.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s Degree 2nd Year Student or Higher pursuing Mechanical Engineering or equivalent degree

Master’s Degree Student Preferred
