The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid status of reporting to any Consumers Energy Service Center every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with home office flexibility on Wednesday and Friday.
We are looking for: Senior Product Manager (Renewables)
Seeking an innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the development of new renewable energy offerings and execution of existing offerings while delivering a superior customer experience. Responsible for staying apprised of industry trends, business renewable energy needs and optimal deal structures to inform Utility renewable energy products and services. Skilled at developing and nurturing internal and external business relationships. Responsible for developing near term and long-term product strategies and working with cross functional teams to execute on plans. Candidate must be a self-starter and driven. Proactively solves problems and mitigates risks for the business. Responsible for product innovation, including enhancements to the existing product portfolio and introduction of new products that solves customer problems and compliments Consumers Energys product portfolio. Renewable energy, sustainability, business to business sales acumen background is a plus. The role is responsible for Consumers Energys Renewable Energy Program, Renewable Energy Credit Program, and other products as they are introduced to the business customer segment.
The Sr Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing on a multi-year product strategy that achieves that aggressive corporate clean energy goals through implementation contractors and internal partners. This role creates and maintains a multiyear product roadmap, identifies and implements strategies to maximize product performance. The Sr Product Manager is responsible for long term product viability, such as cost effectiveness, customer satisfaction, regulatory success, balancing internal and external interests. This role coordinates across multiple internal/external stakeholders and provides peer leadership and product knowledge to product management team.
