MN8 is headquartered in New York with offices in Boca Raton, Florida and Madrid.

As the Senior Construction Manager, you will:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all projects are completed on time with total emphasis on Safety and Quality
  • Provide technical support to Field Engineers providing construction alternatives for the more complex technical problems
  • Lead regular meetings with professionals, including engineers, contractors, utilities, system operators and other project stakeholder representatives
  • Work closely with utilities to establish the requirements and process to interconnect the projects
  • Liaise with contractors and local authorities to obtain licenses and permits for the project
  • Maintain strict quality control procedures – this requires regular visual inspections of work, frequent tours of the site and fill up quality check list.
  • Ensure the projects run to schedule, and finding solutions to problems that may cause delays
  • Ensure that the projects comply with the plans and company specifications
  • Establish, manage and mitigate risks factors to ensure the construction goes smoothly

Additional Activities:

  • Interpreting drawings and specifications as required
  • Distributing appropriate technical construction data and back up
  • Requesting and reviewing contractor’s progress reports
  • Reporting progress and updating expected project milestones dates
  • Requesting and reviewing testing and witness records
  • Create checklist and inspection reports templates
  • Write procedures and monitor compliance with them and applicable local, state and federal regulations
  • Attending various meetings with Business Development, Due Diligence, Technical Offices and other

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Proficient in oral and written communication
  • Self-motivated with excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Teamwork oriented, trouble shooting and human resource skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience managing projects, contractors and utilities
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with project work and electrical regulations, including NFPA 70
  • Computer skills
  • Knowledge of Office 365
  • Interpretation of drawings.
