Your Role
Join Atlas Copco as a Spare Parts Order Administrator where you will provide our customers with quotations for spart parts of centrifugal compressors. You will also review historical data in ERP system and communicate with vendors to develop quotations. As part of the Aftermarket team, you will report to the Aftermarket Parts Manager and work with the sales team in your assigned customer center to coordinate scope of supply and prepare pricing. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.
- You will provide administrative support to the Aftermarket sales team by responding to customer inquiries.
- You will communicate with vendors regarding commercial and technical documentation requirements.
- You will determine the source, availability, cost, price, and lead time of spare parts to create customer quotations.
- You will process customer purchase orders for spare parts.
- You will create and provide sales team with order acknowledgements.
- You will review the bill of materials and drawings to support the spare part order.
- You will identify and quote preventative maintenance parts and maintain preventative maintenance plan contracts.
- You will prepare correspondence to the sales teams and other partners.
To succeed, you will need
- You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar function or equivalent working and education experience.
- You have 1 or more years of experience in order processing.
- You have general knowledge of centrifugal compressors and their subsystems.
- You can used Microsoft Office products.
