Job Description – Solar Technician I Carbon Recall Chattanooga is a solar and energy storage installer in the Southeast. We are looking to hire entry level and skilled solar electrical system installers. Ideal candidates are motivated team players with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and master all aspects of installing PV solar systems. Primary responsibilities: Safely working outside to install PV systems on residential and commercial rooftops as well as ground mounts. Lifting, moving and transporting panels, racking and other material. Ability to follow layout and drawings in regards to racking, modules, wire, etc. Preparing inventory for projects. Perform PV system service as required. Attend training sessions and project meetings as required. Ability to identify and help implement Continuous Improvement Opportunities. Work safely at all times. Knowledge and skill requirements include: Valid driver’s license. Experience with hand-held and power tools. H.S. Diploma, two-year degree in technology/industrial arts preferred. 1-2 years of construction background is preferred. Experience in mechanical installations, general construction and ladder work is preferred. Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems is preferred. Team player who listens, learns, and actively communicates.
