The role
Ideal applicants will possess a wide range of skills, including commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring, and repair of heavy electrical equipment. Successful applicants possess strong electrical aptitudes and knowledge, hands-on skills, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, they will be flexible and attentive to customers’ needs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervising and overseeing operations of multiple service teams within the region.
- Creating a weekly schedule and providing updates on direct reports’ daily tasks, assigning of warranty claims to technicians, control, and part review.
- Meetings with clients to provide customer technical support and follow up on billing for the region.
- Providing support and guidance to service teams. Monitoring performance and providing feedback to technicians. Overall personnel management.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve processes and procedures.
- Start-up and commissioning of solar inverters at customers’ PV solar sites.
- Stock management – responsible for inventory parts assigned to the region.
- Responsible for caring for company property such as company vehicle, tools, electronic devices, and PPE.
- Follow up on procedures of Safe Start and Safe Stop. Practice and adhere to Safety and Training policies. Complete Level 2 audits of safety in the sites. Zero incidents.
- Completion of expense reports.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or 6+ months relevant professional experience as an electrician.
- US work authorization (Preferred).
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Management experience.
