**Role Overview:**

As a Solar Sales Representative at Solartec Systems, you will play a vital role in driving our growth by connecting with potential customers in local communities. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting door-to-door campaigns, educating customers about the benefits of solar energy, setting appointments, and closing sales. This is a high-energy role that requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a passion for renewable energy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– **Lead Generation:** Conduct door-to-door campaigns to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.

– **Appointment Setting:** Schedule appointments with interested customers for a detailed consultation, earning $40 for each confirmed appointment.

– **Customer Engagement:** Present and explain the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and available incentives.

– **Sales Presentations:** Tailor presentations to meet the specific needs and concerns of each customer, providing clear and concise information about our solar systems.

– **Close Sales:** Negotiate and close deals with customers, ensuring they understand the installation process and the financial benefits.

– **Follow-Up:** Maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process and provide post-sale support as needed.

– **Reporting:** Keep detailed records of interactions, appointments, and sales in our CRM system.

– **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with the marketing and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

**Qualifications:**

– **Experience:** Previous sales experience, preferably in door-to-door sales, is a plus. Experience in the solar industry is highly desirable.

– **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a simple and engaging manner.

– **Persistence:** A driven and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to handle rejection and continue working toward sales goals.

– **Customer Focus:** A strong desire to help customers make informed decisions about their energy needs.

– **Flexibility:** Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to reach potential customers.

– **Transportation:** Must have reliable transportation to visit different neighborhoods and attend customer meetings.

**Compensation:**

This position is commission-based, offering a competitive 9% commission on all closed sales. In addition, you will earn $40 for each confirmed appointment set. The earning potential is significant for driven and successful sales representatives.
