Job Description:

As a Remote Solar Energy Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by connecting with potential customers remotely. Using your exceptional communication and persuasive skills, you will educate prospective clients about the benefits of solar energy and guide them through the sales process. You will work closely with our sales team to identify and qualify leads, build rapport, and close deals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound calls and virtual meetings with potential customers to present solar energy solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections to drive sales.
  • Identify customer needs and provide customized solar energy solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate and qualify leads through various channels.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to effectively articulate the benefits of solar energy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the solar energy industry. Virtual sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade customers remotely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in using technology for virtual sales presentations.
  • Passionate about renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
