Solar Installer Description:
We are looking for a motivated candidate with a positive attitude to join our team. Previous solar experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. The position involves working on roofs and ground locations in outdoor conditions. Our ideal candidate is in good physical shape for lifting, installing & connecting panels, and working on roofs. Job duties include helping layout PV systems from roof to balance of system on ground, racking installation, DC & AC PV wiring, and balance of system layout and connection. Conduit bending, installation of mc cable, wire pulls. The position has a 2 month provisional time period to determine permanent employment.

Solar Installer Requirements:

• Must possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Understanding of electrical wiring, conduit bending, conduit sizing is preferred.
• NABCEP course work or certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and structural plans and interpret field layouts.
• Comfortably able to lift 55lbs, climb ladders, and work on roof, inside and outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Must have transportation (public or private) to/from job sites if not driving the company vehicles.

• Construction experience.
