Solar PV CAD Designer

Location: Gloucester

Pay Range/details: £30,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting the one of the largest electrical and solar installers in the UK in their search for a Solar PV CAD Designer to support the design team, ensuring our installers and clients have access to accurate Solar designs.

Key Responsibilities – Solar PV CAD Designer

Reviewing tender packs and documentation from clients.

Analysing energy reports against builders site plans.

Collating documents to create a design pack.

Creating detailed site plans indicating Solar PV locations.

Completing designs primarily using AutoCAD.

Assisting with ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Assisting in the preparation and updating of documentation.

Understanding and interpreting client’s expectations.

AutoCAD Experience Essential.

Qualifications & Requirements – Solar PV CAD Designer

PVSol, VDV planner and Solar experience desirable.

Organised with the ability to prioritise own workload.

Attention to detail and accuracy, even when working under pressure.
