Long Island’s premier solar energy company is expanding, and seeks an experienced solar panel installer/supervisor for solar energy (PV) projects in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
This role requires working with our team to install solar energy (PV) systems on residential and commercial rooftops and ground-mounts. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of electrical systems, proficient use of hand tools and power tools for construction purposes and related construction techniques, and the ability to work at heights. Must adhere to safety protocols and guidelines on construction sites.
Candidate should have at least four years of PV installation, troubleshooting and/or related solar energy technical experience, or comparable experience in electrical. NABCEP certification is a plus.
Candidate must have a valid license and clean driving record to drive company trucks, and, where applicable, for own vehicle mileage reimbursement.
Important for candidate to have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork abilities, have positive outlook and friendly demeanor, and be passionate about pursuing a career in this growing field currently in its infancy.
