Sundial Solar is currently seeking a Solar Installer to join our team. Sundial is looking for the highly motivated, self starter, high responsibility person. Who we can depend on to get the jog done right, and in a timely manner. We provide on the job training and there is room for rapid advancement.

The primary role of the Solar Installer is to ensure accurate and timely solar installations, and utilize best installation and safety practices.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

  • Must own your own tools including impact driver and bits
  • Layout and install solar arrays according to plans
  • Able to read and accurately interpret drawings and plan sets.
  • Able to work at heights
  • Able to work in any weather and extreme conditions for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift 50-100 pounds over your head repeatedly
  • Maintain high-quality control on tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities
  • Keep accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to the installation
  • Maintain compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two year of solar installation experience preferred, but candidates with general construction experience will be considered
  • Ability to safely handle power tools and hand tools as well as materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $800.00 – $1,000.00 per week

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Solar Technicians: 2 years (Required)
