Responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts. Can be assigned to Photovoltaic (PV) Crews, PV support crews, PV Installer, QAQC or any other general duties assigned. Essential Job Duties may include:
1. Read and understand Mechanical assembly drawings and specifications.
2. Identify components of a Solar tracker system.
3. Identify orientation and elevation of components.
4. Describe the function of Solar components.
5. Installation of Solar PV Systems and mounting equipment including (not inclusive):
a. Installing Piles, Trackers, components, and Bolting hardware.
b. Installing Module panels.
6. Plum, Level and Torque Tracker components.
7. Have knowledge of the sequence of erection of a Solar Tracker system.
8. Have knowledge of the sequence of connecting module strings.
9. Load transport, unload material, tools, equipment and supplies, restock as necessary.
10. May assist in lifting, positioning, securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
11. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
12. Must be able to safely travers uneven terrain with tools and materials.
13. Must be able to lift and carry 50#.
14. Perform a variety of task involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
15. Safely operate hand tools, power tools and equipment.
16. Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.
17. Solar PV panel installation on a single-axis tracker assembly.
18. Single-axis tracker assembly.
19. Pile layout and installation.
20. Underground conduit and cable installation
21. Installation of pre-connectorized DC cabling systems in above-ground cable management system
22. General cleanup and clearing of debris, and all other duties as assigned
23. Adheres to all safety procedures
24. Communicate with others to perform the job tasks
25. Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
