Solar Installer – Experienced Or Entry-Level Bird-in-Hand, PA

What You’ll Do As a Solar Installer:

  • Arrive at 6:15 a.m. and review the daily schedule
  • Load up the truck & trailer with supplies for the day
  • Drive to the job site
  • Install rails, mount solar equipment, install batteries, run wires, etc.
  • Assist with mini-split installation – install an air handling system and run lines, an outdoor condenser unit, etc.
  • Work with 1-2 other install techs
  • Get back to the shop by 4:30 p.m. on most days

Our Ideal Solar Installer:

  • Previous experience with Electrical, Solar, or HVAC is a plus, but we are willing to train candidates with a mechanical aptitude!
  • EPA certification is a plus
  • Able to lift 75 lbs. and perform the physical labor involved in installation and repair
  • Able to use hand and power tools
  • Must be able to work from a ladder
  • Desire to be part of a team with a commitment to providing excellent service to our customers
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a clean driving record of 5 years
  • Pass a DOT physical and background check

  • $22-28/hour – Depending on Experience

  • Consistent full-time hours: 45-50 hours per week
