Solar Estimator (100% Remote)

Job Title: Solar Estimator -REMOTE

• This is a full-time in position remote office responsibilities
• Early / Mid career (3+ yrs Solar Estimator) experience with advancement opportunities
• Pay Rate up to $90,000 based on experience PLUS Bonuses (average 150K 1st year)

About the Role: This is an early to mid-career position for a Solar Estimator looking to grow with an stable mechanical engineering company focused on employees & community emphasizes the importance of work life balance. Can be 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare worked to estimated from RFP, blueprints working with Sales Reps
• Conduct field surveys, coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers to ensure accurate pricing
• Schedule estimates and bids, manage bid files, create reports
• Track and manage equipment and material information such as submittals, quotes and drawings, vendor information and product documentation
• Provide reports to Project Manager, Superintendent, project owners, GC
• Work in a fast paced environment, communicate with internal and external customers, building and maintaining strong relationships
• Maintain vendor and product information for sales team
• Present completed estimates to Sales team, make revisions as needed and
• Maintain industry technical knowledge by attending educational workshops

Requirements:

• 3+years of Field Experience in Solar Estimation & Mechanical Contractor systems
• Able to read mechanical drawings & specifications, lay out piping, refrigeration sheet metal systems
• Have working knowledge of HVAC & mechanical codes
• Strong organizational, multitasking skills, and detail oriented
• Effective communication, team player, Decisiveness, analytical thinking and problem solving ability
• AS degree or equivalent trades school
