We are looking for Solar Crew Leads who have a passionate interest in solar energy and a drive to lead and grow our solar division. The ideal candidate will bring solar experience, professionalism, reliability, and will be detail oriented. Experience in solar installation is required, and willingness to travel for out of town projects is always a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead solar crew with layout and assembly of solar panels and racking hardware
  • Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipment
  • Properly repair and seal roof penetration
  • Perform maintenance on the solar system as needed
  • Prepare inventory for installs and document completion of installation
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Project clean up
  • Attend training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solar or Construction experience is required
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Must be able to routinely lift 50lbs
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: heat, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
  • Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, work on rooftops and be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal check, MVR and drug screen
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Able to work with power tools
  • Must follow all safety policies and standards for working

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Working knowledge and ability to interpret and apply 2020 NEC requirements to PV systems
  • Experience reading and interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential and commercial electrical services and distribution panels
  • Must be able to work with high voltage systems 600Vdc to 1500Vdc
  • Must be able to work with services 240Vac, 208Vac, and 480Vac in single and three-phase systems (and other variations)
  • Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
