Job description:

We are seeking a Remote Solar Consultant to join our team for California (mainly), Texas and Arizona Market . As a Solar Consultant , you will assist homeowners in adopting solar energy systems for their residential properties. You will provide expert guidance and support throughout the entire process, from initial consultation to system installation. The role involves assessing energy needs, designing solar solutions, educating homeowners on the benefits of solar, and facilitating the implementation of solar projects.

This role has the opportunity to grow as a Dealer Manager to lead a team of independent solar consultants in one market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and available incentives.
  2. Assess client energy needs and evaluate the feasibility of solar installations in their roof and home.
  3. Use our software to design customized solar energy systems and prepare detailed proposals.
  4. Explain customers financial analysis, including cost estimates, savings potential, and return on investment
  5. Negotiate contracts and close sales and maintain customer relationships for satisfaction.
  6. Ensure project pass acceptance after site survey and resign if needed.
  7. Coordinate with solar installation companies and ensure project completion on schedule.

Qualifications:

  1. At least 2 years of solar sales experience, particularly in a customer-facing role. Sales/Regional/Dealer manager experience is a plus.
  2. Proven track record of hitting sales quotas and garnering self generated sales.
  3. You already have a client portfolio that you can refer to in order to offer them the best pricing, top-tier solar equipment, and the best financing options available in the market.
  4. High comfort level with technology, utilizing CRMs (e.g. Hubspot) and multiple solar design software applications
  5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  6. Goal-oriented mindset and self-motivation.
  7. Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus.
  8. Knowledge of the solar market in Nem 3.0 California. Plus, know the Texas or Arizona market
