Solar Construction Manager

Location: New York

We’re Seeking An Experienced Solar Construction Manager To Oversee a Long-term Ground Mount Solar Project With An Integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial-scale solar installations, preferably ground mount systems
• Proven track record with BESS integration and operation
• experience with union and non-union projects
• Strong knowledge of solar PV technology, construction processes, and safety protocols
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, including civil works, racking, module installation, and electrical systems
• Manage BESS integration, ensuring proper installation and connection to the solar array
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and utility companies
• Ensure project adherence to budget, timeline, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
• Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

This role requires extended on-site presence for the duration of the project.
