Title: Solar/BESS Engineering Consultant

Salary: $140,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Working Style: Remote (U.S.)

My client is a leading global renewable energy consultancy. The company offers finance-grade commercial and technical services for wind, solar, hybrid, and battery storage energy projects, serving a global clientele including landowners, project developers, investors, financial institutions, project owners, and operators.

Responsibilities:

• Timely and efficient completion or oversight of high-quality renewable energy analysis work, including written communication.
• Conduct pre-construction, IE, and operational energy assessments, including due diligence, review, and validation of engineering designs and commercial contracts.
• Review and optimize engineering designs of solar plants to meet client needs.
• Identify risks and opportunities in technical designs (civil, geotechnical, electrical) and commercial agreements.
• Understand project deals and identify commercial risks related to technical inputs and design.
• Evaluate project constraints, risks, and non-quantitative aspects of project development.
• Support the solar team with useful developments and evolve methodologies during downtime.
• Contribute to and review report deliverables, energy reports, and other analyses for clients.
• Assist in developing and ensuring company quality standards related to solar energy.
• Support business development activities, including meeting with clients to explain technical details clearly and concisely.
• Manage solar projects to meet client objectives.
• Proactively address issues early to prevent further problems.
